Sachem North senior Laura Laureano will compete this week at the New York State Council of Administrators for Music Education Festival in Rochester, N.Y.
NYSCAME organizes the Suffolk County’s 11th and 12th grade “All-County Festival” in November. This festival takes Suffolk County’s top upperclassmen to create some of the best bands, choruses and orchestras.
Laureano has performed in Sachem North’s recent drama productions, including Bye Bye Birdie!, Beauty and the Beast, and Spelling Bee: The Musical.
