Sachem East senior Steven Casali, fresh off of winning the Hansen Award and other honors at this week’s Suffolk County Football Coaches Association awards dinner, will be a guest on the “Sachem News Hour” radio show on WSHR, 91.9-FM, this week.
The show airs live on Thursday, Dec. 6 at 8 p.m. Casali will be on-air around 8:15 p.m. to discuss his award-winning season, his overall career as one of Sachem’s all-time great athletes and other things about his experience over the last four years Sachem East.
The show launched two weeks ago with a pilot episode and will be a consistent offering of news from the Sachem Central School District on Sachem’s very own radio station, which operates at 6,000 watts and is one of the largest educational radio stations in the country.
