Sachem is looking to expand the list of worksites for its children with special needs to gain practical work experiences, which will provide them with the skills and opportunities for employment after their days in the school district.

The Sachem Transition-to-Work Program is designed to offer students with disabilities real life work experiences with business and industry. Insurance and job coaching are provided by Sachem.
