Sachem alum and Olympian Maria Michta will be the in-studio guest on this week’s “Sachem News Hour” radio show on 91.9-FM, WSHR. The show will air LIVE on Thursday from 8-9 p.m. and Michta will be on around 8:15 p.m.
Michta, who graduated from Sachem in 2004, competed in the Olympics this past summer in London, setting a new American record in the 20k women’s racewalk. She was the only American to qualify for that specific event.
Michta will talk about her experience in London, her developmental years at Sachem and what else is going on in her life post-Olympics.
The show will re-air on Friday at 6 a.m. and Saturday at 10 a.m.
