The varsity cheerleading squads at Sachem East and Sachem North traveled to Orlando this past weekend to compete in the UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship.
Competing in Varsity Medium Division I, Sachem North placed second and Sachem East placed 13th. Both teams received automatic bids to the finals.
“Could not have asked for such a magical performance,” the Sachem North squad tweeted from their official Twitter account Sunday night. “In love with the team you’ve become and the blood sweat and tears that it took.”
