What is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Pineapple Classic 5K?
The “Pineapple” is a Hawaiian themed event that includes a 5k run with obstacles along the course followed by a luau.  Participants won’t know the obstacles until they literally run in to them on race day.  There are other event surprises along the way to keep them on their toes!  The reason behind all this mayhem is to help The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society advance lifesaving cancer research and patient services.

Who is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society?
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the world’s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services.  The mission of LLS is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.  Since its founding in 1949, LLS has invested more than $750 million for research specifically targeting blood cancers.
