Sachem North’s Model UN team took home a major victory at this weekend’s UN Conference held at Port Washington High School.
Senior Peter Amato was awarded Best Delegate in the Security Council.
This is the toughest committee to serve in and Amato was given the challenging assignment of representing the country of Mali.
The Security Council always has the strongest students from each school and Amato was chosen as the best.
Amato is one of the scheduled guests on this week’s “Sachem News Hour” radio show on 91.9-FM, WSHR.
