Sachem alum Anthony Iannello, in his second year as an assistant men’s lacrosse coach at Wagner College, recently was interviewed by the school’s athletic communications staff on the “Wagner Coaches Show.”
Iannello, who is also doing work for his master’s degree at Wagner, was a standout at Division I Bryant and Sachem North.
“Energetic,” he said of his coaching style. “I think I try and translate the way that I played into the way that I coach. I think being a high energy guy, if I tried to be one of those quiet reserved kind of guys I wouldn’t be true to myself. I want to try and bring as much as I can and I hope that my energy translates to my players.”
