For the first time in school history, the Sachem North Varsity Arrowettes were named Long Island Champions in jazz, open and hip hop after their competition this past weekend.
They add up the total scores of all three local competitions and then the best in each dance receives Long Island Champion recognition.
Sachem’s JV team also did great as well. They won a Long Island Championship in jazz, hip hop and pom.
Varsity will head to Orlando on Thursday for Nationals.
