Kinkaid sent back to AHL Albany

Keith Kinkaid’s cup of coffee in the NHL lasted less than a week this time as he was sent back down to Albany in the AHL for the time being.

Martin Brodeur has not returned from injured reserve. Instead, Albany’s other goalie Jeff Frazee is getting a chance to ride with the big club, according to a release from the team on Wednesday morning.

Kinkaid made his NHL debut Tuesday night, replacing Johan Hedberg in net during the second period of a 5-2 loss against Tampa Bay.
