UNH CAA Award

Sachem alum Dalton Crossan and his University of New Hampshire football brethren were honored recently with the Colonial Athletic Association Commissioner’s Academic Award for the 2012-2013 season.

Student-athletes receiving this honor achieved at least a 3.20 grade point average based on semester performance or cumulative GPA, according to the university.

In February, the UNH football program was recognized for placing a league-leading 24 members on the 2012 CAA Academic All-Conference Team, which is comprised of starters and important reserves with a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or better for their entire academic careers, New Hampshire said in a release.

The Wildcats are currently in spring camp, which will conclude with the annual Blue-White Game on Saturday, May 4. Crossan red-shirted his freshman season and is expected to be an integral part of New Hampshire’s ground attack over the next four years.
