Sachem has a 1.31 percent tax levy change average over the last seven years, which is the lowest of all surrounding and neighboring school districts (see below).
For its budget re-vote, Sachem has a 3.14 percent increase, which meets the tax cap. The re-vote will be on Tuesday, June 18 from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. at all 12 elementary schools.
