In a tradition that goes that decades, the football programs at Sachem North and Sachem East make their way upstate this week to their respective training camp sessions. North is in Fishkill, N.Y. and East is in Monticello, N.Y.
The official Section XI start date for training camp was August 19, but some schools are fortunate enough to travel elsewhere for a week to get their minds set on football prior to the school year and opening kick off. Sachem’s touchdown clubs at East and North allow the players and coaches to take part in this bonding experience.
