Here we are again. Sachem vs. Floyd. We all know the emotions that go into this game. It’s only escalated more when you throw in the fact that Sachem is coming off a regular season loss to Commack and Floyd actually has two loses under its belt so far. Game on.

Sachem North has made some adjustments to its line and elsewhere, which is necessary after the last game. Floyd undoubtably has studied enough film on the Flaming Arrows.

Aside from a hiccup at the end against Commack – caused by a Cougar player in the bottom of a pile – Trent Crossan is healthy and ready for action against the Colonials.

Since many players at Sachem had a down week against Commack, you can expect a change of pace and flow on the field and on the stat sheets against Floyd. Malik Pierre needs to go off. Kevin Bragaglia needs to make some of his exciting and explosive plays. Anthony Ross will need a powerful game. George Carrion and Justin Rivera must come amped as usual.

Floyd brings a basic offense to the table compared to its explosiveness in years past. Chris Faison is the main threat out of the backfield, so look for him to get a bulk of the action.
