Two former Sachem East teammates and friends played each other in a Division II college football game on Saturday afternoon.
Complete with the expected trash talking and post-game love between the Sachem brethren, Chris DiIorio and Lucas Brum know how to put on a friendly show.
A year apart in the classroom, DiIorio graduated a just before Brum from East. They keep in contact, play in the same fantasy football league and shared similar experiences playing at Sachem East.
On Saturday they were both on the field for most of the game at the same time. Brum is an offensive lineman and DiIorio, who recorded his second interception of the season against Stonehill, is a defensive back.
Stonehill got the best of C.W. Post with a 38-28 victory and the friendship remains intact.
