The Sachem North boys soccer team’s season came to an end on Friday afternoon with a 2-1 overtime loss to Central Islip in the Suffolk County Class AA quarterfinals.
Christian Villalta scored the game winner for the Muskateers (15-2) three minutes into the overtime period.
Harrison Weilbacher scored Sachem’s only goal of the game.
The Flaming Arrows, seeded sixth in this year’s post-season, finished the season 13-4-1.
Second-seeded Central Islip will host No. 15 Huntington in the semifinals on Monday at 2 p.m.
