This is a playoff game before the playoffs. Winner gets a post-season birth, loser gets a 2-6 record. Sachem East will play at Brentwood at 2 p.m.
Both teams have had rocky seasons to this point, battling injuries, younger depth charts and difficult opponents. Both teams are still hungry for at least one more game in the 2013 season.
Sachem East is without Zach Geer, Kenny Whigham, Phil Brum and a handful of other starters for the final game of the regular season, making their task seemingly more difficult.
The Arrows, however, always seem to rally when it matters most. Their defensive game has been a strength this season as well. If they can hang on, limit turnovers, play well on special teams and capitalize on any mistakes Brentwood makes, then winning this game is absolutely possible.
