Sachem North alum and SUNY Geneseo cross country athlete Keira Wood won the individual State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) women’s cross country title this weekend.
Wood, who graduated from Sachem in 2011, crossed the finish line in 22:01 during the 6K race.
Her performance in the event earned her immediate induction to the SUNYAC cross country Hall of Fame along with teammates Jackie Huben and Alyssa Knott.
