Sachem East’s Trevor Guerrera placed fourth in the Suffolk County boys cross country State Quals and earned a spot at states.
It was a race to the finish with Guerrera edging out his competition with a time of 16:42.96 to Tom Meehan from ESM by a hair 16:43.26.
