The Sachem Arrows Marching Band made it’s annual trip to the New York State Field Band Conference Championship at the Syracuse Carrier Dome last month.

The band performed their best show of the season and came in fourth place out of 10 bands.

The 2013 Sachem Arrows Marching Band had 96 members, the largest the band has been in almost a decade.

After  constant growth over the past eight years, the band is expected to break over 100 members this coming Spring when recruitment for the 2014  competitive season begins.

Students can get information about being part of this great Sachem tradition by speaking with Mr. Macchio at East or Mr. Carroll at North.

“New music and an exciting show are just around the corner,” said Macchio. “We look forward to the crowds at the North vs. East and Homecoming football games next Fall. Until then, band instrumental students interested in joining can always stop by our Spring meetings to find out more.”
