Let’s be honest, winning a Long Island championship in any sport is like winning your own personal Super Bowl. Maybe even better for some.
And with any major sporting championship comes championship t-shirts. Sachem unveiled its championship shirts Wednesday afternoon.
The shirt has the standard team name and logo on the front and features the Class I Long Island Championship trophy on the back with “Win the Day,” this year’s team motto, inscribed on the hardware.
The championship shirts will be on sale for $20 during Friday’s basketball rivalry game between Sachem North and Sachem East. The game starts at 6 p.m.
They will also be available during the weekend at Sachem North’s “Festival of Trees and Lights”.
If you’re wondering, championship rings are currently being designed. They will be fundraised for by the Sachem Touchdown Club and by parents.
