Sachem East and Sachem North boys basketball will play a game Friday night to benefit the Bernard Brisson Scholarship Fund. Tipoff is at 6 p.m. at Sachem North.
There is a $5 admission fee.
At halftime of the contest you’ll be able to see Sachem North football’s Long Island Championship banner raised in the gymnasium.
Sachem East starting five include all seniors: Danny Wolff, Jesse Condon, Preston Pierce, Ryan Cole and Joe Murphy.
Seven players from Sachem North are coming right from the football season: Malik Pierra, Bryan Gresalfi, Anthony Service, Matt Ward, Lucas Ward, Sean O’Brien and Jasheem Banks.
Pierre, who is the top running back in Suffolk County, also is Sachem North’s returning leader in scoring for basketball.
