Students in Ms. Higbie’s and Mrs. Ambrosino’s classes helped organize Sequoya’s annual “One Warm Coat” coat drive.
They collected, counted and organized the coats each morning and were able to donate 85 coats to the Long Island Women’s Empowerment Network.
With over 400 people at this shelter, they were able to give almost a quarter of them some warmth this winter.
A wonderful turnout and a job well done!
