Call it February madness. The Suffolk County Class AA girls basketball playoffs begin on Tuesday and all eyes will be on Sachem North, which hosts an out-bracket game against Longwood.
No. 16 Sachem North will be in action against No. 17 Longwood at 5:45 p.m. for a chance to advance to the big bracket against top-seeded North Babylon on Thursday at 3:45 p.m.
Sachem North was 7-7 in League II and 10-8 overall during the regular season.
The Flaming Arrows are 3-3 in their last six games heading into the post-season.
