Sixteen Sequoya students under the direction of Technology Trainer Roberta MacGray and Librarian Sandy Bucher participated in the Celebration of Technology in Education conference.

Sponsored by ES BOCES Model Schools Program, at Dowling College’s Brookhaven Campus on Friday, May 16, the students created Glogster projects. Glogster is an online social technology site where students can create interactive posters using text, graphics, audio, video, and more.

Nine students attended the conference representing Jessica Frank’s 8th period class. The students had the wonderful opportunity to be “technology ambassadors” and speak to other students and adults about their Author Study projects.

In addition, the students were able to view other school’s technology projects, and acquire knowledge for future projects of their own.
