Sachem East sophomore Cara Trombetta was selected to play for the Long Island region in the Under Armour Underclass Lacrosse Tournament at Towson University this July.
Trombetta, who committed to play at the University of Florida last year, is a three-time All-County lacrosse player. She helped lead the Arrows to their first “Super Six” finish in Suffolk County girls lacrosse last season, as well as an appearance in the Suffolk Quarterfinals.
She is also a two-time All-County, All-Long Island and All-State field hockey player, who helped the Arrows win three straight county and Long Island titles, as well as two state championships.
