Sachem East junior Alexandra DeCicco won a Class A Suffolk County Championship in the 5k race Friday at Sunken Meadow. DeCicco finished in a time of 19:13.55.
The Sachem East girls team also finished first overall capturing the program’s first team cross country county championship in school history.
The girls will compete in the state championships next Saturday at SUNY Canton.
