Throughout the month of December, Samoset Middle School organized a coat drive to help those who are less fortunate.
Students created signs, made announcements, and visited homerooms to spread the word, and as a result of their efforts, we collected over 150 winter coats.
The coats were donated to St. Mary’s church in Lake Ronkonkoma for local dispersal to community members in need.
