Sachem East boys cross country captured the Section XI Division I and overall Section XI County Championship with a hard earned victory over some very tough opponents.
Brandon Guerrera placed sixth overall, followed by Nick Pandolfo in seventh and Matt Patsy in ninth.
Rounding out the scoring was Max Osterberg in 21st and Vincent Cavallino in 22nd place.
The team’s next efforts will include the Frosh/Soph championships this Friday and the State Qualifying meet on November 1.
