Sachem East cheer continued its hot streak this weekend, capturing a historic crown: the first large school Suffolk County cheer championship.
This is the first year that Section XI and the New York State Public High School Athletic Association have created tournaments for cheerleading.
Sachem East will head to Syracuse next month to compete in the state tournament.
