Sachem alum Ryan Leone Wins UPenn Public Health Award

At the Public Health Student Pitch Competition UPenn students presented a wide-ranging list of public health issues.

The Undergraduate Judges Award was given to Sachem East Ryan Leone, College of Arts & Sciences” for his presentation on “Unmaking Mistakes: How We Can Resolve Malpractice Dilemmas.”

The Judges’ Award was made by a panel of public health researchers and experts which included Stephenie Lemon, PhD, University of Massachusetts, Worcester PRC, Douglas J. Wiebe, PhD, University of Pennsylvania PRC, Jamie Chriqui, PhD, MHS, University of Illinois at Chicago PRC, Melissa Akers, MPH, CPH, Nutrition and Obesity Policy Research and Evaluation Network (NOPREN), Carolyn Johnson, PhD,Tulane University PRC.
