The Sachem North girls varsity soccer team is off to one of its best starts in recent years with a 4-0-1 record and first place mark in Suffolk County’s League I.
Their most recent win was a 2-1 victory against Patchogue-Medford earlier this week.
Jenna Blank scored her third goal of the season off a deflected shot sent in by Caitlyn Human.
Within the first five minutes of the second half Stephanie Radakovic scored on a header off of a corner kick by Junior Kaila Hinchman.
Excellent defensive play, as well as a combined five saves from Lauren Makely stifled the opposing offense leading to another win for Sachem.
Sachem looks to continue its dominance in the league at home this Tuesday against Longwood.
