Will graduate as one of Sachem’s all-time best on the court
Sachem East senior Danielle Cosgrove scored career point No. 1,500 against Longwood on Friday, February 3.
The Arrows are 9-7 overall and 8-5 in League I as of February 10.
Against Longwood, Cosgrove, who is committed to play at Notre Dame, registered a double-double for the 50th time in her illustrious career.
According to team statistician Mike Feldstein, she has 50 double-doubles in 78 games her last four years (64 percent) of her games.

- She has had double digit rebounds in 58 out of 78 games the last 4 years (74.3 percent of the time) and has scored double figures in 72 of 78 games in the last four years (92.3 percent).
- In the past four seasons, in 78 games, she has averaged 18.3 points per game and 11.4 rebounds along with 3.9 blocks. She has shot 265-379 from the line (69.9 percent).
- Finally, Danielle’s play has been exceptional in the last five games (four against teams either in the playoffs or fighting to get in Brentwood, Longwood, Massapequa, and Sachem North). Over those five games she is averaging 27 points per game, 14.2 rebounds, 24-29 from the line (82.7 percent), 39-68 from inside the arc (57.4%).
