Graphic design students take top honors
The Sachem North Art Department attended the Long Island Media Arts Show at Five Towns College and two students were honored with “Best in Show” recognition.
Thirty-five students attended, of which 10 students presented digital videos, computer graphics and photographs. Two students, Daniel Fuentes and Mary Malahy won “Best in Show” for their graphic designs.
Judges were especially impressed with a tribute video to Sachem East’s Joshua Mileto created by Sabrina Junior, a documentary by Collin Storke, and a music video by Angelo Teodoro.
