Students, Staff Shine During First SEPTA Fashion Show

Fun and engaging fundraiser brings smiles and unique experience

Sachem’s SEPTA organization hosted its first fashion show last week with great success.

Thanks to the generosity of local and national donors, the Sachem community, and the hard work of the SEPTA Board, they raised more than $9,000.

The proceeds from this event will benefit the programs and services SEPTA provides to special needs students, their families and educators district-wide. This includes scholarships, classroom enrichment and community programs and activities.

“We are thrilled with the success of our fashion show and auction fundraiser,” said Sachem SEPTA President, Annie Faivus. “Our special models shined on the runway in fashions styled by Macy’s and accessories by Vera Bradley. A great day was had by all – We Are Sachem!”
