Off-season training and bonding in full swing for Flaming Arrows
Sachem North football had the unique experience of attending the first Laurent’s First and Goal Football Camp at Lafayette College in Easton, PA.
More than 325 college coaches donate their time to instruct what is known as now the largest one-day football camp in America.
According to the camp website, the player to coach ratio is better than 8:1. Players are grouped by position and class year, and alternate between offensive and defensive drills and skills throughout the day. Players may also elect to work with the kicking specialist coaches for the day, or alternate between kicking and another position.
Sachem alum Trent Crossan is a senior captain on the football team at Lafayette.
