DYNASTY! Sachem North Volleyball Headed to LIC

Hardware continues to pile up for Sachem North boys volleyball

Sachem North boy’s volleyball has won three Suffolk County championships in the last five years. They clinched their most recent feat after beating Ward Melville in the Division I final on Wednesday, November 7 at Suffolk County Community College’s Brentwood campus.

The Flaming Arrows beat the Patriots, 24-26, 25-16, 25-11, 25-19, winning their first county title since 2015. They lost in the finals the last two seasons.

Ward Melville won the first set, but thanks to the leadership and play of Sachem’s Jack Driscoll, the Flaming Arrows settled in and won the next three.

Sachem is now 17-0. Uniquely, they are 86-1 in regular season league matches since 2012 also.

Next up: The Long Island championship on Saturday, November 10 against Plainview JFK at Noon. Tickets are $7.
