Local funny man honored by Leg. Muratore
Suffolk County Legislator Tom Muratore recently attended a comedy night sponsored by the Ronkonkoma Chamber of Commerce to recognize Sachem alum Chris Roach and present him with the “Key to the City.” Muratore presented Mr. Roach with a proclamation as part of the celebration, which took place at the Ronkonkoma Fire Department.
“Chris Roach was born and raised in Ronkonkoma. He is a popular comedian in the area, having headlined clubs all over the East Coast; Chris has appeared on Comedy Central, The Michael J. Fox Show, ABC’s One Life To Live and recently co-starred as Mott on the hit TV series Kevin Can Wait with Kevin James,” stated Legislator Muratore. “He also volunteers his time with Autism Speaks and Save-a-Pet, and is just an all-around good guy. I was happy to recognize our local celebrity and wish him much success in the future.”
