Sachem East won the League I wrestling tournament, edging out Brentwood with a total score of 212.5 points.
Twelve grapplers from Sachem East have qualified for the Section XI championship meet, which will take place on February 9-10 at Suffolk County Community College Brentwood.

• 170 pounds, Ryan Paolella – League I 3rd place
• 182 pounds, Tom Marks – League I 3rd place
• 113 pounds, Lucas Coniker – League I 4th place
• 160 pounds, Ryan Wahl – League I 4th place
• Heavy weight, Mark Kmiotek – League I 4th place
Sachem North placed fifth in the League II tournament with 137.5 points. The Flaming Arrows had three wrestlers place second: J.T. Mankowich at 99 pounds, Mike Waxman at 145 pounds and Kevin Jorgensen at 182 pounds. #GoArrows
