Special honor to coach in high profile game for Sachem alum and football coach
Sachem East football coach Phil Torregrosa served as an assistant coach at this year’s Empire Challenge all-star football game.
The game is played to raise funds and awareness for cystic fibrosis through the Boomer Esiason Foundation.
Torregrosa, a Sachem alum, is joined by his student-athletes from Sachem East in this photo. They came out to the game to support their coach and the Long Island team.
“Honored to be chosen to coach the Long Island team in the Boomer Esiason Empire Challenge,” said Torregrosa. “One of the best experiences of my coaching career so far!”
