Anthony Del Broccolo is on to his next project.
The Sachem alum, most notable for his writing on “The Big Bang Theory,” will be writing for the new CBS pilot “United States of Al.”
Produced by fellow Long Island native Chuck Lorre, who created Big Bang, Del Broccolo will be right at home with some other former staffers, including executive producers Dave Goetsch and Maria Ferrari.
“I am truly honored and excited to be joining this writing team and get the opportunity to work with such a talented cast and crew,” said Del Broccolo. “I hope you will watch and love the show as much as I do!”
The series is about a friendship between a combat veteran and interpreter who spent time working together in Afghanistan and are settling into civilian life back in the states.
