Both varsity football games in Sachem have been altered for Week 3 due to quarantine protocol from opponents.
Sachem East will travel to Newfield on March 27 at 2 p.m. rather than Longwood.
Sachem North will host Commack on March 30 at 5:30 p.m. rather than play Lindenhurst.
Sachem East is 0-1 after losing its opener against William Floyd. Their Week 2 game against Pat-Med was also canceled due to quarantine.
Sachem North is 2-0 after beating Ward Melville and Nassau’s Carey, respectively. Their game against Carey was in place of a previously scheduled contest against Commack, who had to quarantine as well that week.
Since Commack was originally going to play Lindenhurst on Tuesday as a makeup, the game scheduling worked out for Sachem North.
