After being named a Pre-Season All-American by U.S. Lacrosse and Inside Lacrosse, Cara Trombetta was then added to the Tewaraaton Trophy Watch List.

Against Cincinnati, she picked up four groundballs, two caused turnovers, and one draw control and leads a squad with the fifth best scoring defense in the country at 7.56 goals per game.
