Sachem alum and Rutgers law student Kyle Kilkenny has been named as the editor-in-chief of the Rutgers Law Record.
Kilkenny, who graduated from Sachem North in 2015, studied political science and international relations at Fordham prior to enrolling at Rutgers where he is pursing his Juris Doctor.
“Innovative, thought-provoking and rigorous legal scholarship has never been more important, and I thank my colleagues for giving me the honor to collaborate with them and other academics in the coming year,” he wrote on LinkedIn.
He hopes to work in public service after he obtains his law degree and was initially inspired to work in the public sector as a student at Sachem. He helped advocate and lobby for the school district in Albany and has been hooked ever since.
