For the fourth time in the last five years, Sachem East girls track and field won a Suffolk County Division I championship.
Sachem East was led by Ariann Robinson who won the 200-meter race in 25.60, the 400-meter in 57.64 and was on the 4×400 relay team that won in 4:07.32.
Arya Deshpande won the 100-meter hurdles in 16.64 seconds and Angelina Cook, in typical Sachem racewalk fashion, won the 1,500 in 7:05.98.
Sachem East is expected to have a strong showing at the Suffolk County championships on June 17 at Comsewogue.
