Sachem alum and Vanderbilt bowler Amanda Naujokas has made the Junior Team USA bowling squad.
The Lake Ronkonkoma native sat in first or second place in the U18 division through five days of competition at the USBC’s Junior Gold Championship and was one of the top bowlers in the highly competitive event.
“Making Junior Team USA has been one of my goals and it’s probably a bit more prestigious to make so this is very exciting,” Naujokas said in a statement. “My main focus was to make the top four in qualifying to get an automatic spot.”
