Sachem alum Anthony Piccirillo has won re-election to his seat in the Suffolk County Legislature.
Piccirillo, the Republican incumbent, received 73% of the vote compared to his opponent, Peter Russo.
“Huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and voted for me to continue to be YOUR LEGISLATOR,” Piccirillo wrote on Facebook. “I am truly honored and humbled to have been re-elected with 73% of the vote. I promise to continue to work hard for the residents of the 8th Legislative District as your full time Legislator.”
Piccirillo generated 12,832 votes in the election compared to Russo’s 4,668.
