Sachem North wrestler JT Mankowich was named Section XI-Island Federal’s Scholar Athlete of the Month for November.
Off to a hot start this season on the mat, Mankowich is also skilled in the classroom and has a 101.8 weighted GPA. He takes several honors and AP classes.
The six-year varsity letter winner and three-time League II runner-up is also a member of several honor societies.
He has been added to the Section XI-Island Federeal Scholarship Watch List and will be a finalist to receive a $2,500 scholarship in May.
