Dr. John Cassese was one of the first Sachem alumni hired by the school district as a teacher and coach. A 1960 graduate, he taught at every level and retired as a principal. His stories of Walter Dunham, Herman Beebe, and so many influential founders of the district are exactly why this series started.
He is the latest guest on Sachem Conversations, an oral history project produced by the Sachem Alumni Association to digitally record and archive Sachem history from the people who made it and lived it.
