Madison Apicella picked up this season where she left off last year. She earned her first NE10 Player of the Week honors recently after being named NE10 Player of the Year in 2022.
She was recognized for scoring two first-half goals at New Haven and assisting on a game-winning goal at Saint Michael’s.
Apicella leads Adelphi with 6 goals and 13 points in 9 games.
Last season she became the second player in conference history to earn Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year honors in the same season.
She was a two-time All-State, All-County, and All-League selection at Sachem East.
